The Information Managements System component of Region 16 Education Service Center provides support for TxEIS student and business administrative software for public and charter schools in the Texas panhandle.

TxEIS is a statewide cooperative of regional service centers formed to develop and maintain school administrative software.

The IMS component provides support for state mandated data submission according to the guidelines of PEIMS (Public Education Information Management System).
