Technology
Services Division provides support for internal and external clients as
it strives to support state and regional objectives. Consultation,
training and continuing technical support are offered to LEAs for local
area networks, including the Internet and videoconferencing.
Additionally, Technology Services manages and maintains a wide area
network (region16.net) that offers video and data connectivity.
Training is offered for assistance in learning and using
personal productivity software, and for acquiring and perfecting
technical skills. Assistance is given in acquisition and implementation
of telecommunications through various avenues including grant writing
and management. The Media Center provides assistance and support to the
districts in securing media for instructional purposes. |
