Region 16 Education Service Center will provide delivery of NovaNET curriculum. NovaNET service emanates from a large central computer located in the Research and Development center in Champaign, Illinois capable of simultaneously serving thousands of learners.

NovaNET offers over 10,000 hours of curriculum in grades three through post-secondary. This system is delivered over a national telecommunications network. NovaNET’s programs are added to, enhanced, and updated on an ongoing basis in direct response to changing educational standards and users’ needs. NovaNET has lessons that include graphics and are fully user interactive. They also incorporate a range of research-based instructional models that give each student the greatest chance for success while maximizing learning time. NovaNET’s lessons are mastery-based and meet student’s individual needs. Topics include basic skills in reading, writing and math, GED preparation, middle and high school subjects (math, English, sciences, social studies, electives), life skills, school-to-work, job skills and ESL. The breadth, depth and scope of NovaNET’s curriculum offerings allow it to flexibly meet the widest range of student needs.
