field trips" to the Albany Institute; content is adaptable to grades K

and the Hudson River School. The Institute is offering two free programs
per year to students with special needs. In addition, field trips
will be $100 a program, with up to 2 sites connected and no more than 30
students participating.

dates and times, and IDEA (Integrated Distance Education
Activities) programs in which a videoconference is part of a

This program will introduce the student to the Exhibits
Department at Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum and take them
through an overview of the process of planning, fabricating and
installing a typical museum exhibition. The student will learn
about the staff involved and their roles. The materials and
equipment utilized in the process. The student will also learn
what kinds of training and skills are needed to work in the
field including examples of the mathematical calculations and
formulas used in the planning and fabrication process.

The Center for Puppetry Arts offers Distance Learning programs for
PreK-12. Students are briefly introduced to different styles of puppets
from around the world (1st grade and up). Students participate in
learning activities about a topic and create a working puppet of their

easy to find and of little, if any, cost. Middle and High School
programs are designed to encourage dialogue between the presenter and
