Panhandle Plains Museum - Canyon, TX
This program will introduce the student to the Exhibits Department at
Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum and take them through an overview of
the process of planning, fabricating and installing a typical museum
exhibition. The student will learn about the staff involved and their
roles. The materials and equipment utilized in the process. The student
will also learn what kinds of training and skills are needed to work in
the field including examples of the mathematical calculations and
formulas used in the planning and fabrication process.
