KCET Public Television
located at 4404 Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood, California, has a rich history of "bold and original public television programming." In the past the station has delivered exceptional videoconference programs to students, often focusing on careers such as "Careers in Culinary Arts" and "Careers in Science." Recently they have hosted authors to participate in videoconference author tours!

Library of Congress
One, two and three-hour workshops for teachers on using the Library of Congress’s site and resources. Open scheduling. Contact Judy Graves (202) 707-2562 or office 707-4158 need local facilitator, some workshops need extra time for participants to work after conference is over. Training sessions are free other than the cost of dialing to them.

National Museums and Galleries
located on Merseyside, Liverpool, England, is a large "multidisciplinary organization covering art, history and science." Remote studies of museum collections are available to students in the United States via videoconferencing! Powerful video-microscopes in the Centre can be connected to the videoconferencing system to help engage students in science studies.

Oakland Museum of California
the only museum "devoted to the art, history and natural sciences of California." It is located in Oakland, California, near Lake Merritt. The education department has many online curriculum units such as GOLD RUSH but will supplement these with videoconferencing programs.

Panhandle Plains Museum - Canyon, TX
This program will introduce the student to the Exhibits Department at Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum and take them through an overview of the process of planning, fabricating and installing a typical museum exhibition.   The student will learn about the staff involved and their roles. The materials and equipment utilized in the process. The student will also learn what kinds of training and skills are needed to work in the field including examples of the mathematical calculations and formulas used in the planning and fabrication process.
