Program Description |
Amarillo College High School Equivalency Program
(HEP) is for seasonal or migrant workers in the agricultural industry.
Eight week sessions are offered in the spring and fall semesters. Quality instruction is provided through individualized computer instruction, structured class, and small group instruction. Classes
are located in Amarillo and various Texas Panhandle locations. Increase your potential by earning your GED
in an eight-week session. 8th - 9th grade level is required on a pretest
and applicants must be 17 years or older. Call today!
El programa equivalente de preparatoria ofrecido en el
colegio de Amarillo (en la calle Washington) es para los trabajadores migrantes
de la industria agricultural. Clases tradicionales e instrucción personalizada en la computadora son de alta calidad.
Las clases están en Amarillo y en varios lugares del Panhandle de Texas. Aumente su potencial y
reciba su GED en ocho semanas. Los participantes deben de tener un mínimo de 17
años de edad y estar al nivel del 8o o 9o grado. Clases

Program Requirements |
| You, your spouse or your guardian must have performed some form of agricultural work in the previous 24 months for a minimum of 75 days. Eligible agricultural work includes, but is not limited to seasonal labor including: meat processing, working in a feed yard, migrant farm work, ranching, fishing, and shrimping. |
