AND
IMMIGRANT STUDENTS
SHARED SERVICES ARRANGEMENT

The purpose of Title III of the No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Act of 2001 is to help insure that limited English proficient (LEP) and immigrant children and youth attain English proficiency, develop high levels of academic achievement in core academic subjects, and meet the same challenging academic standards as all children are expected to meet. The law also promotes parent and community participation in education programs for LEP students.
