Introduction
The Title I Statewide School Support/Parental Involvement Initiative at
Region 16 Education Service Center is responsible for implementing an effective system of networking between the 20 education service centers. Each service center has designated a person to serve as the primary
parental involvement contact. (For a copy of the contact list, go to the Statewide Contacts link.) The ESC
parental involvement contacts serve as the resource for requesting information in their region. |
Goal
The goal for the Title I Statewide School Support/Parental Involvement
Initiative is to increase collaboration between TEA, the ESCs, and LEAs to impact student achievement
and build the capacity of parents to better meet the academic needs of
their children. It is our desire to provide the ESC parental
involvement contacts with networking opportunities, as well as quality professional development opportunities for all parental involvement stakeholders in the state.
