The U.S. Department of Justice’s Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) has announced the availability of a Spanish version of the brochure “When Your Child is Missing: A Family Survival Guide.” The guide is the third edition of an OJJDP report first published in 1998. It provides expanded information on the AMBER Alert Plan.

“Quando su Nino Desaparece: Una Guia para la Supervivencia de la Familia: (NCJ206837) offers Spanish-speaking parents insights into what they should do when their child is missing. Written by parents and family members who have experienced the disappearance of a child firsthand, the guide is available online at www.ojjdp.ncjrs.org/publications/PubAbstract.asp?pubi=12146.
