                                              Texas Lesson Study

Lesson study begins with a question that uses a systemic process to solve a problem. Lesson Study is an inquiry-based, job embedded professional development that allows teachers to work collaboratively to develop, teach and assess a research based lesson. Often teachers attend a “sit and get” professional development with lesson study it is teacher-driven professional development. Texas Lesson Study connects with other state initiatives such as SLO, TTESS, and/or campus/district improvement plan.
