For information on how to apply for Head Start Programs in the following cities, contact the school district or the center: Amarillo ISD (Eastridge Elementary, Margaret Wills Elementary, San Jacinto Elementary), Bovina, Canyon (Lakeview Elementary, Sundown Lane Elementary), Childress, Clarendon, Dalhart, Dimmitt, Dumas, Friona, Hart, Hereford, Memphis, Pampa, Perryton, River Road, Shamrock, Spearman, Stratford, or Wellington.
Qualifiers:
- Family meets income guidelines
- Family receives TANF, SSI, or SNAP
- Child in foster care
- Child is homeless
What to bring to apply:
- Proof of Child’s Age and Immunization Record
- Proof of Income (current tax return and/or current income)
- Proof of Public Assistance/Services (TANF, SSI, Medicaid)
- Documentation of Child’s Disability (if applicable)
