Welcome to the Region 16 Texas EcosySTEM project, powered by the Texas Education Agency.

Mission: To educate, promote, and prepare our students, parents, and educators with equitable STEM opportunities and STEM skill-sets necessary to be future-ready.

Vision: To provide quality solutions that build the capacity in STEM learning opportunities.

Learning Ecosystems provide the architecture for cross-sector learning, offering all young people access to STEM-rich learning environments so they can develop important skills and engagement in science, technology, engineering, and math throughout Pre-K-20. Strong STEM Learning Ecosystems feature dynamic collaborations among schools, out-of-school time programs, STEM expert institutions (such as museums, science centers, institutions of higher education and STEM professional associations), the private sector, community-based organizations, youth, and families.

The Connectory remains the largest, free, online directory connecting STEAM-rich program providers to families and the general public as well as like-minded organizations. Now, The Connectory has streamlined language, a new provider dashboard, and a new opportunity to reach options.
