The 2024 tax table files are now available to import into ASCENDER. The 2024 files and instructions can be found on the IMS Business website under:
Documentation > Payroll/Personnel > Year-End – Calendar (as seen in screenshot below)
Please note this tax table information is from the December 13, 2023 Draft of 2024 IRS Publication 15-T. If any changes occur in the final publication, updated files will be made available. Use the Publication 15-T to verify the tax table information that is imported is correct before running your first 2024 payroll. The 2024 tax tables must be uploaded before payroll can be processed for 2024. Each district is responsible for verifying and updating all rates prior to running January payroll.
If your district runs a payroll in 2024 prior to installing the 2024 tables, be sure that the 2024 tables are imported as soon as possible. Each LEA should verify that the 2024 tables are imported and are accurate, because your LEA may have imported the 2023 tables for the 2024 year at a prior date.
