21-22 CRDC Submission - The Civil Rights Data Collection (CRDC) is a biennial (i.e., every other school year) survey of public schools required by the United States Department of Education Office for Civil Rights (OCR). The CRDC collects data on leading civil rights indicators related to access and barriers to educational opportunity at the early childhood through grade 12. Data is collected from every public local educational agency (LEA) and campus.

Many districts in Region 16 have contracted with our ’s IMS Department to manage the OCR 21-22 data submission for your district. All of those districts have already been contacted by our IMS consultants and are working with them. If you are not sure if you are contracted with IMS for this, check with your superintendent.
Districts NOT contracted with Region 16 can contact us for assistance for ASCENDER OCR questions in preparation for reporting data to the CRDC.

Student UID Quick Search and Assign Option - Have you ever wanted to search for a UID for a single student from ASCENDER? Well now you can! The guide listing requirements and walking through the process can be found in the Student Texas Unique ID Assignment Guide here.
- Please note: In order to use the Student UID Quick Search and Assign Option additional TSDS access must be granted. At least one staff member must request Request Service Account Manager Access and then once that is granted must request access to the Unique ID Web Services Application. See TSDS How to Create and Manage TSDS Web Service Accounts in TEAL Guide here.
- IMPORTANT: This does not take the place of the Texas Unique ID Processing Utility in Registration > Utilities.
