ASCENDER Student Highlights:
Release 9.0905 addresses multiple issues affecting student data integrity and interface usability. These include resolution of a duplicate record issue in Title I extracts, corrections in bullying and cyberbullying maintenance entries, and adjustments to the eligibility delay reason within the API. Addressed UI and rule additions in Student Maintenance.

Release 9.0905 includes updates to personnel utilities and staff demographic maintenance functions. Enhancements improve naming clarity and support data consistency across systems. Renamed "Change Staff ID" menu for improved usability. Enhanced maintenance functionality in staff demographic information areas.
ASCENDER Administration Highlights:
Release 9.0905 includes system-wide improvements related to TSDS nightly processing and the creation of new system tables supporting TSDS extracts. These backend changes support improved extract stability and reliability. Resolved issue where nightly TSDS processes failed due to single-entity errors.
ASCENDER Other Highlights:
Release 9.0905 addresses API synchronization issues and schema-level bugs in accelerated instruction triggers. Corrected discipline action orphan synchronization in EDFI staging tables. Fixed trigger issues on the Accelerated Instruction page.

TSDS coordinators - Please complete an extract and send and promote and validate data for Summer PEIMS to determine if the updates noted corrected the stated fatal errors.

Fix Applied - Grade Reporting > Section Change fix related to COURSE SECTION promotion duplicate errors in Summer PEIMS:
When a LEA makes an update to one of the following data elements: Population Served; Course Sequence; Non Campus Based Instruction; CTE Hours; PK Curricula; High Quality PK Program; PK Instruction Type; PK School Type the Section Set extract is currently not updating all session records if multiple tracks exist.
This is causing a course section promotion duplicate error.
On Thursday 5/8/25 ASCENDER Programming applied a fix to update all Course Section Sessions records in the section set staging table with the data from Grade Reporting > Maintenance > Master Schedule > Campus Schedule > Section.
ACTION REQUIRED: If the fix resolved the course section promotion duplicate error, please resolve any open ticket(s) related to this error. If the fix did not resolve the error, provide additional research information on the ticket you currently have entered.
