ASCENDER Student Highlights:
Release 9.0920 addresses multiple TSDS fatal errors impacting Student reporting, including corrections to transcript-level error reporting and resolution of issues tied to special program extract deletions. Fixes were made to ensure accurate School Extract outputs and to correct -6 errors in extract staging processes. Eligibility Date logic was updated for SELA records to reflect proper processing rules.
Fatal Errors addressed: 10020-0051, 10200-0057, 40100-0204, 40100-0205
Note: This release may cause records to be deleted and resent to the ODS. This may temporarily impact system performance.
ASCENDER Business Highlights:
Release 9.0920 addresses ECDS PK teacher assignment validations by correcting rules to prevent non-district employees from being coded with improper PK teacher role codes.
ASCENDER Other Highlights:
Release 9.0920 adds Accelerated Instruction section to the Grade Reporting Create Reports, enhancing compliance reporting and providing new visibility into LEA data needs.
ACTION NEEDED BY DISTRICT:
TSDS coordinators - Please complete an extract and send and promote and validate data for Summer PEIMS (and other submissions you are currently working on) to determine if the updates noted corrected the stated fatal errors.
