On Friday, October 3rd, TEA will take the TSDS IODS environment offline to begin the TSDS 2026.2.1 release, which is slated for completion on Monday, October 6th. This TSDS release contains breaking changes as the descriptors noted in the guide below will be removed.
In ASCENDER 11.0200 (detailed in the guide below) TSDS data submissions (Extract/Send) from District Administration will be suspended. The Domains and Entities screen will be grayed out. Extract/Send Option will be turned back activitate on Thursday, October 9, 2025 ASCENDER Release 11.0202 contingent on TEA releasing the SDK as planned on Monday, October 6, 2025.
PLEASE READ THE GUIDE BELOW FOR INSTRUCTIONS ON CLEANING UP THE DESCRIPTORS THAT WILL BE DELETED. There is an ACTION ITEMS SECTION that explains how to do the review and clean up after the 11.0200 release is installed tonight. It also include a list of districts that currently have 1 or more of the deleted descriptors that need to be cleaned up.
