There was a TEA/TREx software update on Friday 11/14 that changed formatting requirements related to the name of the field gender being renamed to sex. Below is an example of the error received when ASCENDER users are creating the TREx file from Registration and attempting to upload in TREx.
The current workaround is to do the following. This issue will be fixed in an upcoming ASCENDER software update:
1. Open the TREx file in Notepad++
2. Click Ctrl F
3. Select the Replace Tab
4. Type:
a. Gender in the Find What: section
b. Sex in the Replace With: section
5. Click Save
6. Upload TREx file in TEAL
