Summer PEIMS Statewide Reports - CTE Reports Issue
An email was sent out by TEA on Monday, July 6th, to inform district TSDS staff that the Statewide Reports are available for 2025-2026 PEIMS Summer First submission. On Wednesday, July 7th,TEA sent out the following message:
URGENT: PDM3-404-002 CTE Student Roster Rpt Issue - TEA is aware of an issue with the CTE Autocode process that is impacting report PDM3-404-002 Career and Technical Education Student Roster. Subsequently the PDM3-404-003 Student Counts by Career and Technical Indicator Code and Grade is not calculating the summary data correctly. TEA is working diligently to resolve the issue and will provide an update once the resolution has been successfully released.
What does this mean? Until TEA determines a correction to the reports mentioned and implements the correction into the TSDS system, districts should wait to complete their Summer PEIMS Resubmission. Once the correction in the TSDS system is deployed, districts will need to rerun the report and verify the data on the report. Please note: If your district decided not to do a resubmission, it is still REQUIRED that you rerun/review the Statewide Reports (specifically the CTE ones mentioned) to confirm the accuracy of the data. We will communicate any additional information that is needed as it becomes available to us.
ASDRs Delayed
We had several school districts scheduled for ASDR appointments this week and early next week. Because we are waiting to hear from TEA regarding the Summer PEIMS CTE Reports issue mentioned above, ASDRs cannot be completed. The consultant assigned to work with you will (or already has) reached out to you to discuss this issue and has or will determine a date to reschedule ASDR. We apologize for the inconvenience this causes and are hopeful for a resolution soon.
ASCENDER Database Maintenance RESCHEDULED
ASCENDER database maintenance has been rescheduled to Friday, July 24 from 3pm-11pm. ASCENDER and All Portals will be unavailable during this time period. Please save your work and exit all applications and logout of ASCENDER. A message communicating the downtime will be posted on the login screen the morning of Friday, July 24th.
