ASCENDER Software Update 8.0305 was installed on 11/16/23

Here are a couple of Fall PEIMS submission items that this release fixed.

Issues: 

The Endorsement Indicator taglines are not generating to the Fall Student Enrollment Interchange when all Endorsement Indicator Codes are 0.

The Distinguished Coursework tagline is not generating when the Grad Type Code is 40.

What you (the PEIMS Coordinator) needs to do - Simple, create new files.  The next time you create the Fall PEIMS interchange files the data described above will now be included. 

Issue:

The Fall Student Extract is incorrectly assigning As-Of Status Code E to students. The students investigated should have been coded As-Of Status Code C.

What you (the PEIMS Coordinator) needs to do  Simply, rerun their Fall Student Extract and the above described as-of status student scenarios will be assigned correctly.  NOTE;  If you continue to receive Validation Specials or Warnings related to As of Status coding and want to discuss those with us please submit a TIMS ticket and attach the validation report and let us know which errors you have a question about.
