Fatal 40100-0142 (Related to Parental Permission Must Not Be Blank) Fix Applied on 12/11/2024

ISSUE:

Some users continue to receive TSDS Fall PEIMS Fatal 40100-0142, If EmergentBilingualIndicator is "1", and ADAEligibility is not "0" or blank, then ParentalPermission must not be blank., after the Local Program EPT or BPT was entered for students with Parent Permission Codes C, 7 or 8. This is due to a datetimestamp trigger issue for the Parental Permission descriptor.

SPECIAL NOTE: 

A fix was applied to all Region 16 Districts on Wednesday Afternoon (12/11 at 4:26pm) to update the datetimestamp on the Bilingual/ESL table for student's with a Parental Permission descriptor C, 7 and 8.

Action Needed:

Please ensure you complete an extract and send and promote and validate your data into Fall PEIMS to review your list of fatals for the one in question. ESC 16 ASCENDER tickets or TSDS Tickets related to this fatal will be resolved.  Please let us know if you see this fatal.

UPDATE:

ASCENDER Programming is working on this issue and anticipates a correction/permanent fix in a future update.
