ISSUE: ASCENDER Programming has identified an issue related to AchievementCategory, reported in the PriorYearLeaver.GraduationSet entity:
When a user updates the AchievementCategory on Registration > Maintenance > Prior Year Leaver Tracking, an incorrect value is being saved to the table.
This issue prevents the entity from loading to the IODS.
SPECIAL NOTE: Users should not make changes to the AchievementCategory data element on Registration > Maintenance > Prior Year Leaver Tracking. The AchievementCategory data element will be saved in the incorrect format. Earlier guidance had suggested making a change to the achievement category field on the prior year leaver tracking screen but this is no longer the case.
A fix has been applied to all Region 16 ASCENDER districts on Tuesday 12/17/24 at 10:50am to update any invalid or missing Achievement Category records for graduate leavers.
Action by district:
Please ensure an extract and send has completed successfully and an updated Fall PEIMS promotion and validation has been completed on Tuesday afternoon, 12/17. Review to determine if those fatals/specials/warnings that include the references to the PriorYearLeaver entity - Graduation Set - data elements (shown below) have cleared.
