Important Due Dates and Reminders for January 2025
- PEIMS Fall Submission – Due Thursday, January 16, 2025
- PEIMS Fall Resubmission – Due Thursday, January 30, 2025
- PEIMS Midyear Submission – Due Thursday, February 13, 2025 - UPDATED
- PEIMS Midyear Resubmission – Due Thursday, February 27, 2025 - UPDATED
*Please note, the updated dates will be published in a TAA Letter this Thursday, January 16, 2025, but we wanted to share since we received this information from a meeting with TEA this morning.
Important Notes Regarding Midyear PEIMS:
- Districts can no longer import an external auditor’s file. All auditor’s adjusting entries must be posted into Finance into File ID 4 for the Midyear PEIMS Submission.
- It is important that all districts verify the data for accuracy after entering in the necessary auditor’s adjusting entries.

Reminders for Upcoming Deadlines for W-2 and 1099 Forms
- W-2 Forms must be filed electronically (if 10 or more aggregate forms) to the SSA and provided to employees by Friday, January 31, 2025.
- 1099-NEC Forms must be filed with the IRS and provided to recipients by Friday, January 31, 2025.
- 1099-MISC Forms must be sent to the recipients by Friday, January 31, 2025. In very few circumstances the due date to the recipient may be later, so be sure to check the IRS website to verify. Because we anticipate all districts will now need to file electronically, the due date for electronic submissions to the IRS is Friday, March 31, 2024.
