ASCENDER 9.0915
ASCENDER Student Highlights:
- Release 9.0915 addresses multiple issues related to data extraction and reporting within the student system.
- Fixes include improvements to bilingual attendance handling, student discipline incident behavior extraction, and reporting exclusion triggers to ensure data consistency and TSDS alignment.
- Several key performance and data integrity fixes were also made in support of TSDS triggers and fatal rule remediation.
- 9.0915 also includes support for two new immunization series types (Serologic Evidence and Titer) in the SHS0102 Immunization Due Report and UI changes.
- Utility-related fixes were also applied to allow deletion of current year student records as part of AsOfStatus logic enhancements.
- Fatal Errors Addressed: 42410-0016, 42405-0012; 42405-0050; 10050-0004; 10050-0005
- A fix was run on Friday (seperate from the 9.0915 update) to address some StudentSpecialEducationProgramAssociation data that wasn't extract and sending as expected. This addresses some issues causing fatals 42401-0010 and 42405-0002.
Note: This release may cause records to be deleted and re-sent to the ODS. This may temporarily impact system performance.
ASCENDER Administration Highlights:
- Release 9.0915 addresses critical corrections related to data integrity when managing student enrollment and program participation.
- Fixes include ensuring that bilingual program attendance data is properly retained when students withdraw or transfer campuses, and that related records are deleted appropriately when using the Delete a Current Year Student Utility in Registration.
ACTION NEEDED BY DISTRICT:
TSDS coordinators - Please complete an extract and send and promote and validate data for Summer PEIMS (and other submissions you are currently working on) to determine if the updates noted corrected the stated fatal errors.
