Known Issues - TSDS Upgrade Project - 10/16/24

Hello

The below issues have been reported by numerous schools. As you encounter these issues for the first time, it is important that these issues are still reported to our team so we can report them to our ASCENDER/TCC programming staff.

Please know the ASCENDER/TCC programming team is working very hard to get these and other issues corrected quickly. We sincerely appreciate everyone's patience as we work through this new way of reporting our data!

Known/Reported Issues as of 10/16/24

Industry Based Certifications

Description of Issue: some schools are reporting Industry certifications are being reported that are OUTSIDE of the reporting date range for Fall PEIMS. Ex: a student earning an IBC on 5/24/24 is being reported in Fall PEIMS and should have been reported in the prior Summer PEIMS.

Status: WORK IN PROGRESS

Comments: The TCC is continuing to research this issue. There is currently no fix version or release date available. Please continue to enter tickets when/if your school observes this issue.

Emergent Bilingual Indicator

Description of Issue: schools working on Fall PEIMS processing are reporting seeing the following Fatal error:

40110-0010 On the PEIMS Fall snapshot date, if EmergentBilingualIndicator is "1", and ParentalPermission is not "C", "7", "8", or blank/not reported, then LangInstruProgramSvc must be reported.

This error is related to the problems being caused by the TEA update (installed 10/4/24) not being in alignment with the software vendors data stream (JSON).

Status: CONFIRMED ISSUE

Comments: This issue will be corrected with the 9.0200 release.

We do not have a release date for this version.
