welcome this is a video to show you how to clock in and out of Time Clock Plus first you need to input your employee ID number next to you when you didn't put your PIN number that was assigned to you to access your portal once you've logged in you can look in the top right-hand corner to verify that they should your profile here we have Austin Powers to clock in select the button in the top left-hand Corner that says clock in here you can bear by that this is the time that you wanted in select continue and you will get a confirmation that the clock operation was successful to clock out Simply select the clock out button verify that this is the time you wish to clock out but the continue button and you will get a confirmation that the clock operation was successful next we will show you how to approve your timesheet first you were going to view Vue hours and use navigating. Button to select the week you need to approve you can tell from 10 12107 Austin Powers is already approved his week but he still needs to approve 10 8 to 10:14 first he needs to make sure he reached the correct number of hours in Eden in this case he reached 39 so he can improve his week to do this you would check where it says employee approval check the box and you will get a notification that says I have verified all this information is correct you will be asked if you could the statement select yes and click the rest of the boxes to approve your week on your managers and they will see a green checkbox telling them you ever proved your week if you have not approved your week they will show a red which will then prompt them to let you know you need to approve the week worked next we will show you how to view your lease balances to do this going to view and accruals here you can see Austin has 8 hours remaining of comp time 56 hours remaining of sick time and 40 hours remaining estate time as soon as the manager approved your request it'll show up here and used for casting in this situation we would show you how to submit a time-off request if we going to view hours we can see on the week of 10:15 to 10:21 Austin only worked 35 hours that is because you had a dog set appointment on 10:18 but before he can approve his weak he must get to 39 hours so he needs to submit a time-off request for 4 hours to do this he can go in to request wherever there is a black addition button he can submit a time-off request in this situation we know it was on the 18th of October so we'll select that date and here I have a number of options to choose from he has bereavement comp time for those who can use it if a male jury duty non-employment day sick leave State leave and workers comp if he's not sure if his balance says he can use a hit the accrual button he can also forecast as far in the future as he like but here we can see he has 8 hours remaining of comp time 56 hours remaining of sick time at 40 hours remain in a state time if you did not have the balance in one of the bank's he won't be able to submit a time-off request for that bank so this is a good way to check to make sure you have enough leave remaining in this case he knows he has plenty of sick leave so he can go on ahead and collect the sick leave request he needs to go ahead and put the time that he left work which in this case is 1 p.m. and he knows that he needs 4 hours to get to 39 Soho put 4:00 he also place to leave a short description to let the manager know the least selected is appropriate in this case he can just put doctor's appointment as soon as he hits save his manager will get an email stating that a time-off request has been submitted as long as this is blue and pending the employee has the ability to edit it so let's say Austin didn't want to use sick leave and wanted to use comp time he can right-click and select the Oedipus from here he can change the kind of request or change the number of hours even change the start time but in this situation he knows he needs 4 hours of sick leave to get to 39 so will let the manager prove it as soon as your manager has approved your time off request you will get an email to your outlook here we can see doctor evil has approved the time-off request on 10/18 for 4 hours so if Austin goes back into his requests tab see the time has been approved he can also say he no longer has the ability to edit it if it needs to be edited after it's been approved the manager will have to edit it on their end or they will have to delete the request and have the employees submit a new one but since it's been approved Austin Canal go into his H tab and he can now see that he's got 39 hours we can also see that 4 hours of sick leave has been coded to his timesheet and if we hit the notes and we can also see the reason for him missing now that he's gotten 39 hours he can approve his week here's some tips to remember as you're clocking in and out approving timesheets and submitting time-off request number one time sheets due to be completed by noon of the Wednesday the following week number to employ must work 39 hours a week 35 during summer hours number three employees can only use local sick leave in 1 hour increments number for employees can only use State personal leave in 1 hour increments no more than five consecutive days or no more than 10 in a year number five employees can use comp time in 15 minute increments number 69 employment days must reflect office hours for that day they examples Friday would be 7 hours number 7 please add a note detailing the family member that has passed so your supervisor will know how much bereavement leave your allotted if you have any questions regarding leave balances or tips on how to use a saw where please email payroll ac16.
